Ensemble Madre Lunedi
1989年06月10日  Ensemble Madre Lunedi

Members of the Ensemble Madre Lunedi are mothers who have finished raising children. They gathered together to enjoy playing freely and socializing with good food and drinks.

In 1988, the ensemble participated in the 20th concert by students of Kataoka Mandolin Institute for the first time, and was named Madre Lunedi (Mothers on Monday) in Italian. Unchanged since its beginning, they gather to practice Mondays twice a month.

They thrive to produce unique sound and harmony of mandolin to express mothers’ tenderness and warmth.
